GREG D. McCORMACK

Greg D. McCormack is a former member of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, developing his litigation skills in uniform first as a military prosecutor and then as a defense counsel from 1979-1982. Since leaving active duty with the Army in 1982, Mr. McCormack’s practice of law has been dedicated to continuous representation of military in courts-martial and administrative separation proceeding - he has represented armed forces personnel at military installations around the world in hundreds of contested court-martials as well as countless administrative separation cases.  With over 28 years of military criminal law experience, he can provide you with the skill you need in your efforts to secure an acquittal of the charges, or to get the best result in your case.  It is most notable that Mr. McCormack’s 28 years of experience have consisted of continuous court-martial and active litigation experience over that 28 year period – he was not sitting behind some desk in repeated administrator’s assignments for most of that time with limited trial experience, as is the case with many former JAG’s.   Mr. McCormack is a graduate of Western New England College School of Law (J.D. 1979) and Jacksonville University (B.S. 1975) and is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealths of Virginia (1980) and Massachusetts (1979 inactive) as well as all Military Appellate Courts, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the U.S. Court of Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He has handled numerous high profile criminal cases over the years, both in the military and in the civilian legal systems. PATRICK M. FLYNN Patrick M. Flynn served as a judge advocate on active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard for 10 years.  In addition to serving as an engineer on board the cutters CAMPBELL and TAHOMA, he served as a trial counsel, senior trial counsel, and senior appellate counsel and has been involved in hundreds of investigations, administrative separations, courts-martial, and appeals.  Mr. Flynn has a well-earned reputation throughout the military legal community as an extremely talented court-room litigator, and will aggressively fight to protect your rights. Prior to entering active duty, Mr. Flynn was a Lieutenant in the New York City Police Department.  After working as a patrol officer and supervisor, he spent several years assigned to the NYPD’s legal bureau, where he provided legal advice on criminal investigations. As a result of his past experience, Mr. Flynn is intimately familiar with the investigative phase of a criminal case as well as the trial phase and can use that knowledge to help you achieve the best possible outcome in your case. Mr. Flynn is a summa cum laude graduate of New York Law School (J.D. 1997) where he served as an editor of the Law Review, and a graduate of Polytechnic University (B.S. Mech. Eng. 1990).  He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut (1997) and New York (1998), as well as before all military courts.
